About me

I earned my master’s degree in multimedia journalism from Syracuse University after graduating from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in communications: journalism. At the UW I wrote for The Daily’s news, wellness and arts and leisure sections and served as the administration beat reporter.

I’m currently a content editor for MyNorthwest with Bonneville, where I write and edit stories on everything from crime to politics to investigative journalism. Before that, I worked as a digital content producer at KIRO 7. I originally joined Bonneville as a promotions assistant, representing KIRO Newsradio and Seattle Sports at live events.

Earlier in my career, I interned at KING 5, writing web stories and helping produce New Day Northwest. My work has also been published in The Chronicle, including a feature that appeared on the front page of its life section. I also participated in a journalism study abroad program in Italy and contributed to the social media team for The World Is Fun nonprofit.

Outside of journalism, I’ve modeled for Nordstrom and currently pet sit through Rover. Born and raised in Washington, I love taking dance classes, playing soccer, and volunteering at my local animal shelter in my free time.

On this website, you’ll find a collection of my work and the projects I’m most proud of.
